One of my customers requested that I design a chaplet based on the 23rd Psalm as she used it for her personal devotions.  Together, we came up with this beautiful chaplet, using the following design elements:
Click photo for closeup.	A honey jade cross and a Pewter Episcopal Shield as the Invitatory bead.  A jade carving of a sheep ("The Lord is my shepherd....") is attached to the cross, and a heart, carved from Goldstone separates the Invitatory Bead from the Cruciform bead, symbolizing God's love.
	A gold plated "Star of Life" is the Cruciform Bead.
Click photo for closeup.	A circle of prayer, comprised of eleven beads, each capped with a gold-plated end cap and separated by pasture green and shadowy grey seed beads. (..."I walk through the valley of the shadow of death"....)  Each bead symbolizes a verse of the Psalm as follows:
Mother of Pearl	The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
Green Aventurine	He makes me lie down in green pastures,
Lapis	he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.
Crystal	He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Black Jade	Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
Mahogany Obsidian	your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Tiger Eye	You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
Yellow Jade	You anoint my head with oil;
Purple Mountain Jade	my cup overflows.
Rose Quartz	Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
Goldstone	and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
