	This is my father's mother, Ernestine Rudolpher Karpfen. It was taken prior to 1936, when Hitler invaded Austria.
	This is my father's father. It was also taken prior to 1936.
	This is one of the earliest pictures I have of my mother, Theresia Holzman. She was born in Austria in 1908. I believe this picture was taken in the mid 1920's.
	This is a picture of my mother taken, I believe, around 1940 in England. She and my father were separated during the war.
	This is a picture of my father, Kurt Karpfen. This photo was definitely taken in 1940. My father was in the Dominican Republic at the time. A note on the back of the picture says that he sent it to my mother in England for her birthday.
