Return to Trinity Episcopal Church

The second-floor Trinity Chapel, a memorial to Edward S. Knisely, was dedicated by The Rt. Rev. Frank W. Sterret, then Bishop of Bethlehem, in January 1942. The stained glass windows were installed in 1946 and are all identified memorials. The two "Victory Windows" in the Chapel honor all those from the parish who served during World War II and were provided through contributions from the whole parish. All windows installed since 1928 were designed and made by the firm of Calvert, Herrick and Redinger of New York City. The Chapel was refurbished in 1990 as a gift of the Earle family in memory of Polly Earle Blandy.
The Chapel is used for Sunday Morning Children's Chapel services, weekday Eucharists and Prayers, and many people use it for devotion and meditation space.
We invite you to use this web site to meditate in our beautiful chapel. We have provided a suggested format of Lectio Divina and a place to begin your meditation. If you prefer, you may go directly to a window by clicking on its name below.
