I am glad to design rosaries and jewelry to meet your requests.   This page shows some of the different types of things that I have done in the past.  If you would like me to work with you, I will be happy to do so.

A friend of mine had a string of large antique Russian Amber, which she never wore. She asked me to make Rosaries out of them. I made 3 rosaries and 2 bracelets!!! In return, she gave me one of the rosaries. It is one of my most treasured possessions. The amber is priceless....and therefore this item is not for sale. However, I do have some smaller amber beads and can make a nice Amber rosary upon request.

"Fishers of People Series" - Another friend kept wrapping her rosary around her wrist because she wanted to keep it handy at all times. She broke several of them doing this, and asked me to develop a bracelet with the same number of beads and form. I finally came up with using memory wire...and gave them to several friends who use rosaries to pray with. They all loved them! So, I have now added them to my line. This one is made with a sterling silver fish charm in place of the cross, silver-toned metallic shells for the cruciform beads and ocean color glass for the week beads. This particular one is sold, but I can make a similar one upon request.

From my "Fruits of the Spirit" series, the beads in this rosary are glass. The cruciform beads are glass fruits, the spacers are glass leaves, and green glass beads make up the week beads.

From my "Noah" series, this rosary is made completely of wood. Unfortunately, I am not able to obtain any more of the wooden animals at this time. Therefore, this rosary is not for sale.

  • Another rosary from my "Noah" series, this one uses silver-toned metallic animal beads as the cruciform beads and rainbow colored glass beads as the cruciform beads.

  • The cruciform beads are beautiful lampworks by Kathie Secor, and the week beads, heart spacers and cross are genuine 8mm rose quartz. This particular rosary is not for sale. However, please ask about a custom order.

This magnificent rosary was custom made for a customer. She wanted a rosary long enough to slip over her head and wear as a necklace...made out of rose quartz!!! The beads and cross are all genuine rose quarts and rather large. I don't know if I could duplicate this or not. But if you would like me to try for something similar, please contact me.

This lariet, bracelet, earrings and watch set, of hand-made lampwork beads by Kathie Secor, won the viewer's choice award at my local bead shop's showcase in November, 2001. (Not for sale - Ask about custom order.)

Lampwork beads by GiGi Beads are featured in this necklace, bracelet and earrings set. (Not for sale - Ask about custom order.)

I was setting up my bead studio on September 11, 2001. I immediately went out and bought red, white and blue glass rods to begin making beads. These beads, the best of my practice beads are the result. Even though the beads are not perfect, the resulting necklace, bracelet and earrings are my favorite set. Since this picture was taken, I've added a few more patriotic charms - an American flag and the Statue of Liberty. The dog charms are of my 3 dogs - Humprey-a Standard Poodle, Murphy-a Dalmatian, and Nelson-a Springer Spaniel. (Not for sale - Ask about custom order...with nicer beads!)

One of my customers wanted a rosary made out of black beads, a gold San Damiano Cross, a clear faceted invitatory bead with gold end caps, and coordinating spacer beads. This was my response to his very specific request!

This gorgeous necklace, bracelet and earring set is designed around one single magnificent focal lampwork bead by Kathie Secor. (Not for sale - Ask about custom order.)

One of my customers requested that I design a rosary based on the 23rd Psalm.  I came up with this beautiful design, using a honey jade cross, a hand-made lampwork invitatory bead, a gold plated "Star of Life", a Jadite pendant with a lamb carving ("The Lord is my shepherd....", an Ivory Star of David (A Psalm of David), a glass cluster of grapes ("Thou preparest a table before me....my cup overflows.") and green Aventurine, and Riverstone Jasper week beads. Complementing these beads are spacers made out of Jasper, Aventurine and Gold. The lampwork Invitatory bead was created by GiGi Beads and has swirls of grey shadowy shades ("Even though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death..."), green glass ("...He makes me lie down in green pastures...") and blue dichroic glass ("He leads me beside still waters;...")

One of my customers requested that I create a bracelet out of my "Spring Violets" lampwork beads (that were for sale on my "Lampwork Beads" page) as a Mother's Day gift for her mother.

Another customer requested that I create a bracelet out of lavender colored lampwork beads and a Sterling Silver Rottweiler dog charm.  After looking at other items on my site, she found some lampwork beads in an amethyst/peridot color that she liked and requested that I make similar ones in lavender colors.  Then she found a bracelet style and requested that something similar be made.  This is the final result.

One of my customers requested that I create a modified rosary based on my Noah Series.  She wanted a traditional rosary with rainbow colored beads, but with Celestial beads and charms for the Cruciform and Invitatory Beads.  This is the rosary I created for her.  Look for a new series to come, entitled Creation or Genesis, inspired from her idea.

Milagros are small religious charms that people in Latin American countries usually nail onto sacred objects, pin on the clothing of saint statues, or hang with little red ribbons or threads from altars and shrines as signs of gratitude and devotion.  The word "milagro" means "miracle" in Spanish.  I created this string of prayer beads for a friend who was undergoing delicate surgery on her eyes and whose husband was having knee surgery.  I added the flaming heart as a symbol of their passion for Our Lord.

A wonderful friend is sorting through her mother's things, and found a necklace made of faceted, graduated, yellow stones.  She remembers her mother telling her that her brother used that necklace to teethe with, and requested that I restring it into prayer beads that she could give to her brother as a remembrance of their mother.  What a lovely gift!  If you have something you would like to have worked into a string of prayer beads, contact me.  Together, we'll design something that could become an heirloom.

Another friend requested that I create a string of prayer beads out of wood that he could wear around his neck.  This one has a wooden cross and wooden week beads.  The Invitatory and Cruciform beads are carved out of horn, and the spacers are wood and tiny carved stone.

I received an email inquiry from a lovely lady who had lost a rosary that had great sentimental value to her.  She was very distraught and said that even though she knew that she could not replace it (it was an old rosary that her grandmother had given her), she wondered if I could make one similar.  It was made with lilac plastic beads and had a white crucifix.  I had lilic plastic beads on hand, and found a white plastic crucifix at my local Catholic book store.  This is the final rosary.  Please email me with any special requests, and I will be happy to do what I can.

A customer requested that I create a rosary out of Amber.  She wants to attach a walnut cross carved by a friend of hers.  I had some Butterscotch Amber in stock, and created this rosary with a gold San Damiano Cross temporarily attached.  The cross can be taken off and another substituted.

One of my customers requested that I create a chaplet using well-marbled green Turquoise and Red Jasper and incorporate stars.  I was able to accomodate her request, creating a beautiful chaplet entirely out of semi-precious gem stones by adding stars carved out of Tiger Eye and a small Aventurine heart.

Another customer requested that I create two completely different necklaces with a St. Brigid Cross as the focal of each.  These two necklaces were the result; the first using lovely lampwork beads, Swarovski® drop crystals and silver, and the second using Ethiopian hand hammered tube beads and pewter.
